Real Estate: 12 New Listings, 8 Open Houses, 2 Price Changes – MyVeronaNJ


For months, Verona’s real estate agents have been pounding the pavement and working the phones to get more houses listed, but it has been a tough go. As we noted in last weekend’s real estate report, data from Hearth Realty Group indicated that it would take just 1.1 months to sell the active inventory in May, down from 3.1 from May 2020. 

Some of that work is paying off. This weekend there are a lot of new listings, from small- and big-building condos to single-family and two-family homes.  Here’s what’s happening, from lowest priced to highest in each category:

1 Claridge Drive #215: 1 bed, 1 1/2 bath condo in full-service high-rise building. Private terrace. $285,000.

2 Claridge Drive #3AW: 2 bed, 2 1/2 bath condo in full-service high-rise building. Walk-in closets, dressing area. $399,000.

17 Martin Road: 3 beds, 1 bath. Ranch with enclosed porch, detached garage. $399,900.

216 Pompton Avenue: 2 beds, 2 baths. Fully renovated 2018-19, open floor plan. $400,000.

24 Verona Place: 3 beds, 2 1/2 baths. Quiet street near Verona Park. $459,900.
