Spain has hired banks for a widely expected 10-year government bond syndication in the near future, subject to market conditions, said one of the lead managers in a deal announcement on Monday.
The new bond will have maturity in October 2031.
The banks hired for the issue are Barclays, BBVA, Citi, Credit Agricole CIB, JPMorgan and Morgan Stanley.
